Account audit (if you have an existing account), campaign strategy and structure, keyword research and audience segmentation, conversion tracking setup, ad copy writing and creative direction for visual ads, ongoing bid optimisation, A/B testing on copy and landing pages, negative keyword management, remarketing audience curation, and weekly or monthly reporting depending on retainer level. Search, Display, Shopping, Performance Max, YouTube and discovery campaigns all run in-house.
What’s not included: landing page design or development (that’s a separate service through our design and dev teams), creative production beyond ad copy (video production, photography, complex design assets), and CRM integration work beyond standard conversion tracking. Paid social campaigns are a separate service when your audience lives on Meta, LinkedIn or TikTok instead of Google.
Three common models exist in the industry: a percentage of ad spend (typically 10 to 20% with sliding scales for higher spend), a fixed monthly retainer (typically €500 to €3000 depending on campaign complexity), or a hybrid model with a base retainer plus reduced percentage on spend above a threshold. The right model depends on your monthly ad budget, the number of campaigns we manage, and how much creative or strategic work the account needs.
Studio Ubique’s hourly rate is €60 to €65 across roles, which is the basis our retainer estimates work from. A short discovery call gives you a scoped proposal with the model that fits your account, with what’s included and excluded made explicit. Practical minimum ad budget: around €1500 per month for the campaigns to generate enough data to optimise meaningfully. Below that, the algorithm doesn’t get enough conversions to learn from, and you’re paying management fees on a budget too small to move metrics. Higher budgets (€5000+ per month) typically produce better cost-per-result because campaigns can spread across more keyword themes and audiences.
Contract length: monthly billed with one month notice for monthly retainer models, no twelve-month lock-in. The exception is performance-based or hybrid agreements where a defined commitment period (usually three to six months) makes sense to give campaigns time to optimise. Week one to two: campaigns live, initial impressions and clicks rolling in, early conversion data starting to inform optimisation. Week three to six: bid optimisation starts producing measurable cost-per-conversion improvements, ad copy testing shows winners, negative keyword lists tighten the audience. Month two to three: campaigns reach mature performance with consistent CPA or ROAS in the target range. Month four onward: scaling and expansion into new keyword themes or campaign types.
A real example from a recent client (FixFleet): cost per lead dropped from €42 to €18 in six weeks through tighter audience targeting, refreshed ad copy, and bid strategy changes. Timelines vary by industry, ad budget and starting account state, but six to eight weeks is realistic for visible improvement on most accounts. Most clients come to us this way. We start with a free account audit (usually a week of work) that covers: campaign structure issues, keyword and negative keyword review, bid strategy assessment, ad copy and extension analysis, conversion tracking validation (broken tracking is the most common silent killer), audience targeting overlap, and Quality Score breakdown. Output is a written report with prioritised recommendations.
From there you have three options: keep running the account yourself with the audit recommendations as a guide, hire us to implement the recommendations as a one-time engagement, or move to ongoing management with us running the account daily. Landing page issues often surface during the audit too, in which case landing page redesign work can run alongside campaign optimisation for compound effect.

You also get full account access. Studio Ubique manages the account but it stays in your Google Ads MCC under your ownership, with full admin rights for you. Industries where we run regular campaigns: B2B SaaS, professional services, eCommerce (especially DTC brands and B2B eCommerce), recruitment and HR tech, manufacturing, and consumer brands with offline-to-online attribution needs. We’re less active in highly regulated industries (gambling outside specific licensed contexts, pharmaceuticals, financial services with consumer credit advertising) where the platform rules and audit requirements warrant more specialised agencies.
Ad formats: Search and Shopping for direct-response intent, Performance Max for catalogue-based eCommerce and lead-gen at scale, Display for retargeting and brand awareness, YouTube for top-of-funnel video and consideration campaigns, and Demand Gen for cross-format discovery campaigns. Landing page quality affects all of these enormously, which is why we audit landing pages as part of campaign setup. SEO work often runs alongside paid campaigns when organic and paid keyword overlap is significant.
