Tell us what is stuck. We will ask a few questions and suggest a simple next step.
We’ve been building and maintaining digital products long enough to know what breaks, what scales, and what “urgent” actually means.
Studio Ubique works with startups, agencies, and mid-sized companies who want their product to work better than their competitors’ excuses. Since 2012, with clients across 15+ countries.
The questions that come up most often, answered here. Yours not among them? Just ask, there's a human on the other end.
Mostly creative agencies, branding studios, and marketing agencies that win projects bigger than their in-house team can build. Also niche consultancies and recruitment specialists who need backend or platform development without hiring full-time. Studio Ubique has acted as the silent development partner on builds for agencies in Belgium, the UK, the US and the Netherlands since 2012. Some partnerships started with one rush project and turned into ongoing arrangements where we sit in their weekly standups. The pattern repeats often enough that it stopped being a coincidence and started being the model.
One senior contact on our side joins your standups, weekly calls, or whatever cadence you already use. We work in your project tools (Asana, Linear, Jira, ClickUp) or ours, ship weekly demos, and document everything for handover. For most partners, that means a dedicated lead designer or developer who knows your clients, your brand voice, and your delivery rhythm by month two. Capacity beyond that lead sits in our wider team across Zwolle and Chandigarh and gets pulled in for specific tasks. You won’t get the agency moment where you suddenly have five strangers on a call and no output.
Yes. White-labeling is the default for agency partnerships, not an upgrade. Studio Ubique works under your brand on email, deliverables, and any client-facing documentation. That extends to staging URLs on your domain or a neutral subdomain, Git repositories under your accounts where preferred, and design files in your Figma workspace. Our white-label practice covers full builds, dev capacity for ongoing maintenance, and design-only support depending on what your projects need.
Front-end in React, Vue, Next.js, Svelte and vanilla JS. Back-end in PHP/Laravel, Node, and Python (Django, FastAPI). CMS work in WordPress, WooCommerce, Shopify, plus headless setups with Next.js. Mobile in React Native or Flutter. The full development range sits under one team, so if a client project needs design plus front-end plus headless CMS plus a custom API, you don’t have to coordinate three different vendors. Stack choices follow project constraints, not internal preferences. If your agency standardises on a particular framework, we adapt to that.
A freelancer is one person, with the dependency risk that brings: vacation, illness, life events, capacity ceilings. An agency development partner is a team with backup, multi-discipline coverage, and continuity if the lead changes. Studio Ubique sits somewhere between freelance flexibility and full agency overhead. Around twenty people, partner-led, no layered management. You get the speed of a small team with the safety net of an organisation that has shipped 500+ projects since 2012. When the lead developer takes two weeks off, the project doesn’t stop. With a freelancer, it does.
Three models, pick what fits the project: monthly retainer with reserved capacity, fixed price on scoped projects, or hourly for flexible work. Rates run €60 to €65 per hour for all roles, NL and India teams combined. Retainers are the most common arrangement with long-term agency partners. Reserved hours per month, used flexibly across active client work, unused hours roll into the next month within the same quarter. Whichever model, invoicing goes to your agency, not to your end client, so your margin stays your margin. To outline what suits your typical project flow, book a fit check.
That’s your call to make. The default is full white-label invisibility, but some agencies prefer introducing us as their external development team on technical calls when the client asks for it. Both approaches work. The middle option is the most common: you stay the strategic lead and primary contact, but when the conversation goes deep into technical questions (database scaling, API integrations, security choices), we can join the call as your tech partner without taking over the relationship. The choice stays with you per client and per call, never a blanket policy we push.
