Nobody at Studio Ubique sits next to a phone eight hours a day. The team works spread across the Netherlands and India, on projects that need attention, and a developer in the middle of a deploy doesn’t pick up. You can solve that with a receptionist, and plenty of agencies do. She writes down your name, asks what it’s about, and puts you through to someone who might be there. Your technical question she can’t answer, nobody at a front desk ever could. Studio Ubique went for the version that does that work faster.

Bella is the front door of Studio Ubique, not the whole house. She doesn’t need to review code or write proposals, there’s a whole team that does that better. What she does do, she does at any hour, in four languages, and without ever picking up in a bad mood. This is the division of labour.

A conversation with Bella isn't the end of the line. This is the route your question takes afterwards.
01
Call, chat or the call button on the site, Bella doesn’t mind either way. Tell her what’s going on the way you’d tell a person. Full sentences optional, she’ll ask along.
02
What you’re calling about, your name, your number or email address, and whether you’d like a call back. She summarises the conversation, so you only have to tell the story exactly once. That’s one time fewer than at most service desks.
03
Everything lands in one place that everyone at Studio Ubique can see. This is exactly why we built it this way: no forwarded emails, no “that colleague is out today”. Whoever sees your question and can answer it, picks it up.
04
A project question goes to your project manager, a new enquiry to sales, a technical question to someone who can actually answer it. You’ll hear from us by phone or email, usually the same working day. Not because we have to, but because waiting on an agency that says “asap” is no fun either.
FlevoDirect, University of Twente (UT), VIA Sports Experiences, Sokkies. And a few hundred other companies you might not know, but which have certainly been well served. That, on reflection, is the whole story.
The fastest way to understand how this works is to do it. Call +31 85 0607 436 or click the button bottom right and ask your question. Bella doesn’t judge, doesn’t remember bad opening lines, and has all the time in the world. And within 24 hours you’ll hear from a human of flesh and blood.
The questions that come up most often, answered here. Yours not among them? Just ask, there's a human on the other end.
Yes. Bella is the front door, not the whole house. Leave a callback request and a colleague calls you back. On running projects you have direct contact with your regular point of contact anyway, Bella doesn’t get between you.
Then she says so and takes down your question anyway, details included. The team picks it up like any other request. Your question doesn’t vanish because an AI didn’t get it, that would be the world upside down.
As fast as the question allows, usually the same working day. A callback request in the weekend gets picked up on Monday. Bella herself always answers straight away, even at three in the morning, though we do sometimes wonder who’s calling then.
No audio is stored. Bella writes a text summary of the conversation so the team has the context, and we only use it to follow up on your question.
Sure, through the contact form or directly. Email just doesn’t arrive in the same central place as questions through Bella, so your best odds of a quick answer are with her.
Dutch, English, German and Spanish. Start in one and switch halfway, Bella switches along without missing a beat. Most receptionists can’t match that.
We have WhatsApp, and honestly: it works so-so. It hangs on a couple of phones, so part of the team simply never sees your message. There’s no central place where everyone watches, and whoever left the app at home doesn’t reply.
Bella is connected to our internal tools. Everything that comes in through her, the whole team sees, instantly. Which is why we respond faster through Bella than through WhatsApp, odd as that may sound for a channel with “instant” in its DNA. Message us anyway and we’ll try to answer quick, but the fast lane runs through the site or the phone.
