Hourly rates run €60 to €65 across all marketing roles. Ad spend (Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads) sits separately from the retainer and goes directly to the platforms, not through Studio Ubique. Depends on three things. First, how fast you need results. Paid ads (Google, Meta, LinkedIn) produce traffic within days. SEO and content produce traffic within months but compound over time. If you need leads next quarter, paid ads come first. If you can plan twelve months ahead, SEO and content earn higher long-term return on investment. Second, your sales cycle length. B2B with long sales cycles favours content and SEO because buyers research extensively before reaching out. B2C with impulse purchases favours paid ads because the decision happens in the moment. Third, audience platform behaviour. If your audience searches on Google, SEO and Google Ads dominate. If they discover on Instagram or LinkedIn, social plays a bigger role. Honest timelines by channel. Google Ads and Meta Ads produce traffic and leads within the first week of launch, with meaningful optimisation happening across the first 4 to 8 weeks. SEO produces measurable position improvements within 2 to 4 months for low-competition keywords, and 6 to 12+ months for competitive commercial terms. Content marketing builds compounding traffic over 6 to 12 months, with the first articles producing traffic within 60 to 90 days. Social media organic growth happens over 3 to 9 months depending on consistency and audience. The mistake most clients make is benchmarking SEO against paid ads on the same timeline. They work on different curves. Paid is a tap you turn on and off. SEO is an asset you build over quarters. Both have their place. The honest version: if you need results within 90 days, lead with paid. If you can plan 12 months ahead, build SEO and content alongside.
Monthly billed services (SEO, social media, online marketing) run on a one-month notice period with no twelve-month minimum lock-in. Standard agency lock-ins of 6 or 12 months are not how Studio Ubique structures contracts. The thinking behind this: if the work is producing results, clients stay because it makes business sense. If the work is not producing results, locking clients into long contracts is a way of extracting payment without delivering value, which corrodes trust on both sides. The one exception is website ondersteuning (Care, Growth, Partnership tiers) which has a three-month minimum before the standard one-month notice applies, because the ramp-up cost on those is higher. For digital marketing services specifically, you can cancel with one month notice once the engagement is running.
AI SEO covers two related things. Dashboards stay accessible in your tools (Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Looker Studio, Meta Ads Manager) rather than locked inside agency software you lose access to if the relationship ends. Single-channel engagements are routine. About a third of clients work with us on one channel only (often SEO, often Google Ads), either because they have in-house capacity for the other channels or because they want to start small and expand the engagement over time. The other two thirds run multi-channel programmes because the channels reinforce each other (SEO content fuels paid social retargeting, paid traffic data informs SEO keyword priorities, organic social supports both). The honest position: there’s no minimum scope required to start. A focused €1.500 per month SEO engagement is welcome. So is a €7.000 per month full-funnel programme.
